Zoo Fieldtrip #2

Hey there! We took another Draw Crawl sketching field trip to Baltimore's Maryland Zoo!  What a great day!  Tigers and Bears and Lions.....well, the lions were a no-show, but we did see lots of other great stuff!  Check it out below,  and stay tuned for more illustrations from Draw Crawl!

     Still working hard, despite being moved from anchor to field reporter, the aging Sid works a late one in the swamp of Billy Bo Frog. He works hard to bring us the days headlines, even if they do involve a crazy swamp toad who claims to have seen a UFO...

#9 Mardi Gras Parrot

Ponto the Party Parrot

     There's nothing quite like a parakeet party parade. So here he is, ripe for fun and excitement in the hectic streets. I know there's a strange set of lines on there (darn you PS) but, I think he should still be fit to party. I figured with the Mardi Gras Parrot, they would celebrate all of birdkind, and so this noble parrot is dressed similarly to the lowly chicken in a grand gesture of appreciation.

      Down in New Orleans, there's a small little bakery run by the nicest, most mild lady in Louisiana.   But once a year, on Mardi Gras, she disappears.  To be replaced with a feathery, wild, party-animal!  Down on Bourbon street, where the confetti's falling, the music is blaring and the beads are flying....you'll find her singin' and dancing til dawn!
