Herbie the Haughty Happy Hippo

     Herbie was once a down, sullen hippo in desperate search of happiness.  Then one day he found Mama Sanju, a sinister fortune teller.  She granted the hippo his wish for happiness in a maniacal way by trapping his soul in the Joker card, forever casting him as the giddiest card of all.

Behold, the world famous Miller Bros. Circus!  Come and be amazed! See our trapeze artists fly through the air, you'll be convinced they have wings!(some of them might)  We have the most ferocious Lion this side of Africa! (please no name calling, he's a crier)  AND don't miss the world's only unicycle riding/juggling Hippo!  (you've never seen a more graceful creature) Yes Ladies and Gentlemen we have it all!   So come on down to Miller Bros. #4 Cave Man Vulture

Thud

     Walking stiffly across the barren wastelands of post dinosaur Arcadia, Thud, wielder of clubs, marks his territory.  Born into an unholy world of bytes and bears, Thud tries to navigate the outlandish universe with only his feathers, leopard skin toga, and massive club.

     It was a strange one this week with the pick of Cave Man Vulture!  And, as usual, every week I am trying to come at this at a different angle so I thought, "Hey, what could be a more strange union than a futuristic video game and a vintage cave man?" #3 Orca Ballerina

Enorma

     Far beneath the Alaskan waves lives a creature so beautiful and so spectacularly legendary that many question its mere existence.  This orca, known simply as Enorma, is said to have only been seen by a handful of humans, most of whom perish immediately just at the sight of the enormous ballerinas intricate dance.
     This week we drew Orca Ballerina, a subject which i took the opposite direction that I had initially intended.  A unique mixture of size and beauty screamed humor, but for some reason, unbeknownst to me, I went with a more graphic look.  Swan Lake...sort of

Come one, come all, to the Royal Ballet's annual production of Swan Lake!  Featuring the world renowned Feathered Five dancers.  These swans are said to dance so beautifully you'll cry.  AND this week only, a special performance with exchange dancer Finny Blubber.  It will be a performance you will never forget!
